Day 1 Auckland.

A day to spend as you choose. Your choice… Auckland ‘Must Do Four’- Visit Kelly
Tarltons, Wildlife Encounter, cruise on Board the Pride of Auckland and visit the Sky Tower. Sail NZ - Unique opportunity to experience sailing Americas Cup racing yachts. Potiki Adventures – Visit the original site of a Maori village and become absorbed in Maori creation myths and history.

Day 2 Auckland/Waitomo/Roturua.

Travel to the Waitomo Caves for lunch , a guided tour of the Glowworm Grotto and an underground boat ride. Continue onto Rotorua and enjoy a Maori Hangi (feast) and concert. (L,D)

Day 3 Rotorua.

Welcome to the thermal capital of New Zealand. Today is your choice to decide which of the activities you would like to experience. Heritage Tour – Afternoon tour to see the scenic beauty of five of Rotorua’s lakes. Take a guided tour of the Buried village and visit the Rotorua Museum. Mount Tarawera 4WD – Visit the site of the 1886 eruption that destroyed the world famous Pink and White Terraces. Scenic Helicopter Flight – Ten-minute ride across the city, Thermal Reserve and Pohutu Geyser.

Day 4 Rotorua/Taupo/Napier.

Today is a leisurely drive to the picturesque lakeside town of Taupo. Continue on to the Art Deco city of Napier. Classic New Zealand Wine Trail begins upon arrival. Tonight you will enjoy a guided ‘Art Deco’ tour of this unqiue
city.

Day 5 Napier.

Grape Escape Wine Tours will take you to visit four wineries with tastings of Merlot, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and some of New Zealand’s finest cheese matched with a complimentary wine.

Day 6 Napier/Martinborough.

Touring the New Zealand Classic Wine Trail you head south towards the boutique township of Martinborough. Take time to visit the many local wineries.

Day 7 Martinborough.

Today is yours to enjoy the many attractions of the area. Start your day in the
town square and in the afternoon take a short drive to Greytown and enjoy lunch ($) at the White Swan Hotel.

Day 8 Martinborough/Wellington.

Just a short drive across the Rimutaka Ranges before arriving at the capital city of Wellington.

Day 9 Wellington.

Walk through interesting suburbs to a food writer’s home to chat and share delicious treats. Board the interisland ferry and journey across Cook Strait and through Marlborough Sound to Picton and onto Bleheim. Day 11 Blenheim. Take an in-depth look at this wine region. Interact with winemakers and a wine and food matched lunch at Allan Scott winery. (L)

Day 12 Blenheim/Kaikoura/Christchurch.

Classic New Zealand Wine Trail ends this morning. Travel south along to the coast towards Christchurch. Stop in Kaikoura to enjoy a whale watch excursion.

Day 13 Christchurch.

Today travel south via Lake Tekapo to Mount Cook National Park. From there continue to Queenstown.
