Terms and Conditions

The travel packages featured on CanadianTravel.com are offered by various licensed reputable Tour Operators.  These individual tour operators have their own "Terms & Conditions" that also apply to your booking.  You will see the name of the Tour Operator and/or Airline selected on your screen when you are booking your travel with CanadianTravel.com.

Before you conclude your purchase, you will be asked to agree that you have read and accepted these terms and conditions and those of the relevant Tour Operator and/or Airline.  CanadianTravel.com advises that you review such terms and conditions carefully; you can do so by clicking on the hyperlinked word "conditions", you will then be linked to the terms and conditions that are applicable from the selected Tour Operator and/or Airline.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you arrive to check in for your flights well in advance, and in accordance with the recommended check in times for the Tour Operators and/or Airlines named in your itinerary.

Bookings made through CanadianTravel.com are non-transferable, unless specifically otherwise noted.  If you need to make changes to your itinerary, or any portion of your travel plans, and that it is possible to do so, there will be additional fees.

It is your responsibility to review your invoice and itinerary and to ensure that they are correct and reflect the requested travel arrangements.  By your payment to CanadianTravel.com for the travel services purchased, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and accepted our terms and conditions in their entirety without modifications, and that you have reviewed and accepted the terms and conditions of any Tour Operator, Airline and/or other travel product supplier through which your travel is booked.

You agree that you have been advised as follows:

a) that while CanadianTravel.com has endeavoured to advise you of the relevant local laws, customs and travel documentation required for your travel destination and your return to Canada, we cannot warrant the completeness or accuracy of our advice.  It is your responsibility to be aware of and be prepared for all legal, documentary, health and other requirements for your intended travel;

b) that the travel services that you have purchased are supplied by third party suppliers (i.e. Tour Operators, Airlines).  You are aware of and understand such suppliers' terms and conditions of sale and in particular, but without limitation, those terms and conditions pertaining to cancellation;

c) that CanadianTravel.com acts solely as an agent for the Tour Operators and/or Airlines named on your itinerary and invoice;

d) you confirm and we have relied on your confirmation that as the booking or instructing passenger, you have the authority to book travel services on behalf of the other persons named in this receipt and itinerary.  You will keep CanadianTravel.com informed of any changes to your travel plans or contact information; and,

e) of the availability of travel insurance coverage and have either purchased or expressly declined such insurance coverage.
The Tour Operators and/or Airlines named in your itinerary are independent parties over which CanadianTravel.com has no direct or indirect control.  We are not responsible for their acts or omissions.  We assume no responsibility for any claims, losses, damages, costs or expenses arising out of any personal injury, accident, death, loss, damage, delay, loss of enjoyment or otherwise arising from:

a) the acts or omissions of any person other than our employees acting properly on our behalf within the scope of our agency relationship with Tour Operators and/or Airlines;

b) illness, theft, labour dispute, act of God, mechanical breakdown, equipment failure, quarantine, rescheduling, government action, war, insurgency or act of terrorism or other event beyond our control; or

c) non-performance, negligent performance or deficient performance by any Tour Operators and/or Airlines named in your itinerary or otherwise.
No employee, agent or representative of CanadianTravel.com has the authority to modify, waive or alter in whole or in part these Terms and Conditions.

This contract shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and of Canada applicable therein.

Many of the problems for which we cannot be responsible can be insured against.  We strongly advise that you obtain appropriate insurance coverage.

Cancellations and Change Fees

All bookings are subject to cancellation and change fees. The suppliers may have additional service fees. You must consult their terms and conditions before making a purchase.

- Date or name changes on flights and/or vacation packages, cancellation on flights and/or vacation packages: 50$ per person + tour operator fees.

New York Prestige

Cancellations are subject to a penalty of up to 100% of purchase price; Purchase of Cancellation insurance is strongly suggested.

- From the date of booking up to 22 days prior to departure: 50% of package
- 22 days or less: 100% non-refundable

A minimum of passenger is required for each departure. In case of a cancellation on our part, you will have the possibility of chosing another packages or you may chose to receive a full refund.

Travel Documentation

The Canadian Government and CanadianTravel.com strongly recommend that all Canadian citizens, including children and infants, carry a valid Canadian passport. A passport should be valid for at least 6 months after the scheduled date of departure from the last country visited, regardless of the entry requirements of the country.

It is your responsibility to be aware of, obtain and ensure the currency and validity of all documentation required for any trip you purchase through CanadianTravel.com. Such documentation may include a passport, visas, tourist cards and other documents.

The name on your identification documents must exactly match the name on this itinerary.  Be careful not to use short forms of your name or aliases when booking with CanadianTravel.com.
